The outstanding quality of our aluminum alloy slotless thumb handles stems from the rigorous control of production processes and innovative design. From raw materials to finished products, every process embodies craftsmanship, ensuring the products integrate durability, convenience, and aesthetics.

  1. Selection & Pretreatment of Premium Aluminum Materials

As the starting point of the production process, we focus on the material foundation – selecting 6063-T5 aviation-grade aluminum alloy as the raw material. This material boasts excellent strength and toughness, with a density of only 2.7g/cm³, ensuring load-bearing performance while being lightweight, and resistant to deformation and fracture.

Before warehousing, raw materials undergo three rounds of inspections:

  • Spectral analysis to verify component purity and ensure no impurities;

  • Hardness testing to guarantee compliance with mechanical performance standards;

  • Visual inspection to eliminate surface defects.

In the pretreatment stage, ultrasonic cleaning is used to remove oil stains and oxide layers from the aluminum surface, laying a clean foundation for subsequent processing.

Five Core Manufacturing Process Steps
  1. Precision Extrusion Molding Process

Cold extrusion molding technology is adopted: pretreated aluminum alloy billets are fed into custom molds. A 10,000-ton extruder applies constant pressure to form the aluminum material into thumb handles blanks in one go within the mold cavity.

This process offers significant advantages:

  • High molding precision: Dimensional error is controlled within ±0.1mm, ensuring consistent handles specifications;

  • Continuous and intact metal fiber structure: Compared with casting processes, the finished product’s strength is increased by over 30%;

  • No cutting waste generated, achieving environmentally friendly production.

After molding, the blanks are placed in an aging furnace for 4 hours at a constant temperature of 120℃, further stabilizing the material structure and enhancing fatigue resistance.

  1. Multi-Step Surface Treatment Technology

Surface treatment is the key to the product's aesthetics and durability, adopting a multi-layer composite treatment process:

  • Anodizing: The thumb handles blanks are placed in an electrolytic cell, and a 5-10μm thick oxide film is formed on the surface through electrochemical reaction. This film boasts strong adhesion and wear resistance, effectively resisting daily scratches and corrosion.

  • Sandblasting/Brushing Process: According to design requirements, the anodized surface undergoes sandblasting (creating a delicate matte texture) or brushing (crafting linear grains) to enhance tactile feel and visual layering.

  • Sealing Protection: Finally, sealant is used to fill the pores of the oxide film, isolating moisture and stain intrusion. This prevents the surface from yellowing and fading, maintaining a like-new appearance for a long time.

  1. Slotless Structural Innovation & Machining

To address the core requirement of "slotless installation", an integrated dual-fixation structure (snap fasteners + screws) is adopted. Precision-machined card slots and screw holes are created at both ends of the handles. High-elasticity ABS plastic snap fasteners are embedded in the card slots – no slotting on the panel is needed during installation. Simply align the handles with the panel edge, achieve initial positioning via the snap fasteners, and then reinforce with dedicated screws.

The hole machining is performed using CNC drilling machines with an accuracy of 0.02mm, ensuring flat screw installation and preventing loosening or misalignment. Additionally, the inner arc of the handles is ergonomically designed and polished to an R0.5mm rounded corner, which not only guarantees comfortable force application when opening/closing with the thumb but also eliminates safety hazards caused by sharp edges.

  1. Finished Product Full Inspection & Quality Control

Finished products must undergo six quality inspection procedures:

  • Dimensional tolerance inspection (ensuring compliance with installation standards);

  • Load-bearing test (no deformation after hanging a 5kg weight for 24 hours);

  • Salt spray test (no rust after 48 hours of simulating humid environments);

  • Surface wear resistance test (no paint peeling after cross-cut scratch test);

  • Opening/closing feel test (ensuring smooth operation without jamming);

  • Full visual inspection (eliminating defects such as scratches and color differences).

From the meticulous refinement of materials to the rigorous polishing of processes, our aluminum alloy slotless thumb handles not only achieves the core advantage of "easy installation without slotting" but also strikes a perfect balance between durability and aesthetics, emerging as a high-efficiency and practical choice in the home hardware industry.

Only products that meet all standards are labeled, warehoused, and delivered to the market.
