The order process for aluminum alloy products tailored to foreign clients consists of 15 sequential stages, with clear task definitions and estimated timeframes as follows:
Client Inquiry (1–2 business days): The client initiates the process by submitting specific product requirements, including details such as product usage, technical specifications (e.g., dimensions, material grades), and order quantity.
Design & Drawing Submission (3–5 business days): Based on the client’s requirements, the supplier develops and provides 2D or 3D technical drawings of the aluminum profiles, ensuring all specifications are accurately reflected.
Design Review & Revision (2–4 business days): Both parties collaborate to review the feasibility of the drawings, focusing on factors like extrusion process compatibility and material suitability. Revisions are made iteratively until the design is mutually confirmed.
Quotation (1–2 business days): The supplier issues a detailed quotation covering key cost components, such as tooling fees, sample fees, mass production costs, surface treatment charges, and logistics expenses.
Tooling Fee Payment (2–3 business days, depends on payment method): The client completes the transfer of the tooling fee, which serves as the official confirmation to commence mold manufacturing.
Mold Manufacturing (7–15 business days): The supplier produces extrusion molds using H13 steel, a material selected for its high temperature resistance and durability. The molds undergo heat treatment to enhance their performance and service life.
Sample Production (3–5 business days): A test extrusion is conducted to produce product samples, which then undergo specified surface treatments (e.g., anodizing, powder coating) to match the client’s requirements.
Sample Testing & Compliance Check (3–7 business days): The samples undergo rigorous testing, including dimensional accuracy verification and performance evaluations (e.g., tensile strength). Additionally, compliance with the target market’s relevant standards (e.g., EU REACH regulations) is verified.
Sample Confirmation (2–3 business days): The client reviews and approves the samples, typically formalized by signing a Sample Confirmation Form to confirm readiness for mass production.
Order Deposit Payment (2–3 business days): The client pays a 30% deposit of the total order value, which triggers the official launch of mass production.
